I used to be on the 5 line grandfathered plan for $100. Cricket made me change (July) and since then my data speeds haven’t been great. First I went to the Unlimited $55 plan (4 lines for $100) during peak times the data became unusable, <1Mbps. In the Bay Area and then traveling to Vegas, Dallas and NYC I tried switching to the 10GB plan as in theory the data isn’t slowed during peak times. I am still seeing data slow <5 Mbps during busy times with LTE full bars on a iPhone XR and an Android with 5G. Non busy times I’ll hit about 30-60Mbps. I went to this plan even though it’s 4 lines for $110, $10 more a month thinking there’s no slowdown so said the Cricket CSRAnyone have an opinion on this? I was trying to avoid paying $130 for the Unlimited Premium w/ 4 lines.
I have a static IP. I believe Cricket is blocking the standard IMAP, SMTP, HTTP, and other ports.I’m able to ping the static IP---so we know cricket is able to connect to it.But, recently, as of a week or so, I have NOT been able to get/send IMAP mail using cricket.Similarly, I cannot access my web services on multiple non-standard ports.Every one of the accesses just spins in the browser or the mail app.Prior to a week ago, all of the above used to work. Now it has stopped.(BTW, all other ISPs and cellular providers can access these ports.)
This has to be one of the most annoying things I’ve had to deal with coming from a video game that was supposed to be free, but I’m also disappointed in Cricket like they’ve had this issue for 2 years but does nothing to try and contact blizzard and maybe come to a compromise to allow Cricket phone lines. What do we think guys? Is Blizzard just gonna say screw new players or will they try and fix it again? Why can’t cricket stick up for us and try and fight this? I’m literally going to have to change phone providers just to play maybe 2 video games I like.
HiI am a very happy CricketWireless customer. I think the service, coverage, speed and price is great. However I am really missing to be able to use my phone outside of USA, Mexico and Canada. I am from Europe and go there at least once a year, and it is just frustrating to have to opt for some cash cards while travelling. As part of ATT, I cannot see why CricketWireless can add international roaming as an paid option. I would not mind adding it as an additional service for the month I am travelling. Please CricketWireless, can you step into the future world and offer something global.I am also surprised that Norway is not on the list of 35 countries I can call or text to. I tried another carrier in the US, and had to switch back to Cricket within 2 weeks. Please dont make me look for other carrier again.
so i brang my at&t phone to cricket and my data doesnt work well i usually have to either turn the phone on and off or airplane mode , i contacted cricket and they refreshed the signal and said the carrier or phone updated itself and after while the data went again it all start once i hit 7.2 gb out of 10 gb on my phone was wondering is this the way its soppose to be or is it because i brang my own phone to cricket ,by the way great cusyomer service they where so kind i was impressed ..
Im also having signal issues with my phone now for the last 2 days. The phone will lose service randomly and I will only be able to make emergency calls and can send emails over wifi. I can't text or call and can't receive any return. I have tried power cycling phone, taking the sim card out and putting it back in and turning phone back on. What else can I try to get service?
Greetings,Based upon the recommendation of our daughter, who’s had Cricket for years with excellent luck, my wife and I switched to Cricket a couple of days ago. That notwithstanding, our problem is this, we cannot email to text. We can, however, text to our email. Even replying to the received text gets kicked back. This is the message we get:This seems to be an intermittent but reoccurring problem as it has worked in the past. I’m getting the same message now after emailing a text to my daughter, who has a smart phone. I am developing an app that lets me send text messages from the command line. Currently one way but I have planned 2 way conversations. It is basically a scheduled texting app that sends reminders to one of more people now, or anytime in the future. It was working fine, I was getting all the texts I sent out during testing and then last night somehow they became blocked and I can no longer test my app, even if I change email addresses. So it tells me that my account has somehow been blocked of all email texts. Sending and receiving. It's not a bulk texter it's meant for personal use or for other developers that are on a team.. how can I unblock the email texts so that I can continue to develop and even use my app?
We will be going on a cruise in Europe and have the ships internet package. we don’t care about making calls but is it possible to send/receive texts? We both have android phones (Samsung and Moto) but i noted when I tried to test if able to receive texts in airplane mode with Wi-Fi on, you had to turn on WI-FI calling. I’m trying to figure out if turning on WI-FI calling so we could get our texts would work in another country or if we just need to stick with emails. Thanks.
I've been experiencing data issues on Google Pixel, so i went to the cricket store and and purchased a Motorola phone iny local store thinking that it was my phone that was the issue. However, after a few days it too has been just spinning to connect to do anything. I rely on my phone a great deal for work and college classes. I have a family plan with 5 lines! The only timr we have decent service lately is when we are able to use Wi-Fi!! Is there a problem with connectivity in my area that we're unaware of, even though there is a cricket store locally based? If so, we might have to take our business elsewhere!
In November of 2021 I brought my Pixel 4a from ATT to Cricket Wireless. The hotspot worked fine until I went to use it last month September of 2022. I have the top tier plan and the last time I used it was in June of 2022. I called customer service and was told that phone wasn’t supported on the network. Voice and data work fine so the phone has to supported. Looking to see what has changed since June.
I received a text that my account is eligible for HBO Max free, so I clicked the link and installed HBO Max from the play store. I followed directions, clicked on the person icon, then clicked on Sign Into Account, then clicked on sign in with a provider, then I selected Cricket Wireless and then I get this error: Access Denied. You don't have access to http:www.cricketwireless.com/restservices/hboauth/v1/sam1/idp/init on this server. Reference #18.15aa2c17.1631305538.1896458bI have Samsung phone. Any ideas why I can't sign in like it says to?
I just paid my bill on September 18, 2022 and I recieved a text message from Cricket stating my Data Usage was getting low and that was within a couple days after paying off my total bill. I pay my total bill on time every month and this same thing happened last month and now a few days later my phone is saying slow date usage and just spins buffering out of control. This is not acceptable, especially when I don't even use their data each month I use my own from my own personal internet at home on my roommates acct. AND WHAT HAPPENED TO UNLIMITED DATA USAGE ANYWAY!!CUSTOMER SERVICE YOU NEED TO FIX THIS MISHAP OR I'M CHANGING MY SERVICE CARRIERS.... So 1. I have to watch a freaking video to even learn how to refer a friend? Why does your website not provide enough information on nearly every topic? Your video is slow. I can read words and learn quickly. Unless you make that difficult too. Have a video for those who want to watch it and WORDS for those who don’t. Even those who watch the video need the damn link. When I bought my new phone and service back in January 2022, the store clerk entered my email incorrectly and it STILL can't verify my email address. She left the W out of my last name. I've been to at least 3 different retail cricket stores and NO ONE CAN FIX THIS!!Please help if you can.
Me and my girlfriend both have the cricket dream 5g with the 60 dollar plan. Both of us. Two separate plans. Her phone will be right next to mine. Whenever I do comparitive speed tests with the same testing software, hers is always always faster. Sometimes by a little, most of the time by a lot.Right now I'm getting about 1.1mbps.Without a skip, she gets 6mbps. We are on the same tower. Phones are factory fresh. It doesn't matter where I go this is always the case. This is proof that cricket is throttling whoever they want for really no reason.
I understand tethering which is a cell phone feature. I understand data plans with cell phone companies. How does a cellular plan offer “mobile hot spots”? Either your phone does that or it doesn’t. You either have cell phone data or not, it can be unlimited or capped. How does a PLAN offer hot spots?
Every time I try to set up wifi calling I get the message “Couldn’t set up wifi calling. Try again later in settings.” It has never set up. I have tried for nearly a year. I have a samsung galaxy s10, it’s supposedly compatible. Wifi calling could save me the cost of a wired home phone line, but it doesn’t work. What the hell?I bought a new sim card because I saw that fixed it for someone. It didn’t fix it for me.I have also called customer support about this and again, they are useless. Absolutely useless. Their uselessness makes any problem worse than it was before trying to get help.
Does anyone know if I sign up for HBO Max do I lose my $5/month discount for auto payment? I don’t want HBO bad enough to lose my $5 discount. I have called support twice asking about this and they won’t tell me the answer, which is pretty infuriating. You hire people from different countries who don’t understand the question and you don’t train them well enough to answer the question and that’s the face you give your customer when they need help.
