TLDR: Can’t get BYDO Motorola One 5G Ace Wi-Fi Calling Toggle Switch to appear. I bought an unlocked Motorola One 5G Ace from Best Buy a few weeks ago because my old phone died and I prefer unlocked phones to carrier locked models and I had to have the new phone immediately as this wasn’t a planned replacement.After I bought the phone I got to researching it and realized it was supposed to be compatible with Wi-Fi Calling. I was overjoyed because the Cricket/AT&T signal at my apartment is spotty at best and non-existent at worst. I double checked and Cricket says they support wi-fi calling on all of their plans. So I went about researching how to activate Wi-Fi calling on my phone. Various carriers said it was activated in different manners, not really sure why that is, but I followed all of them and none of them got me to where I could turn on Wi-Fi Calling.I called Cricket Customer Non-service, and of course got someone who didn’t know an Apple from an Android, he read from a
Hello, I’m part of a family plan that has had Cricket for 7 years now. The signal for calls, texts and internet has always been a little spotty but it was workable until a few months ago. Recently, every day the signal has been worse and worse, with internet pretty much ceasing during daylight hours and phone calls being dropped from previously reliable locations. I use this phone for to call people for my work and I’ve had to set up a chair far into my yard to get a signal because the phone no longer calls from inside my house. My mom had to drive ten miles away this morning before her internet came back. So, we called Cricket and we’re told our phone plan was old and not really being maintained anymore which might account for the poor signal issue that has developed. I wasn’t thrilled to hear this, considering we were never notified that this might occur, but okay, I understand. It is an old plan. So we signed up for an updated plan at 25% more cost. Im trying to root my lg k 92 5G. It says every where on the internet to hold the volume down while holding the power button from power off mode. And then to release them after the logo comes on screen...the only thing i can get it to do is startup in safe mode?
Hello again,I was looking through my phones hidden/secret menus and saw that wifi calling was provisioned via a toggle switch and VoLTE was also provisioned this same way, but I noticed that video calling was greyed out and that even though there was a toggle switch for it like the other two features, there was no way I could turn it or toggle it on.Is this a feature that Cricket offers?If so, could you please provision it and toggle it on?I'm using a Moto G7 Supra purchased from Cricket.My wife's phone is a Moto G6 Play and she has a video calling icon that apparently lets her choose to make video call if she wants. She doesn't have Cricket service but the phone was originally a Cricket phone as the box that it came in was branded as Cricket even though it was an unlocked phone at the time she purchased it.I was hoping that I could get that option to make video calls as well.Thanks...
Hello,I recently joined Cricket and have the unlimited extra plan along with three other lines. From everything I've read and seen this plan includes 10gb of mobile hotspot. Three of the lines are Samsung Galaxy S7 including mine and one is an HTC M8. Unfortunately, from what I see the M8 is not eligible for hotspot which doesn't make sense as we previously came from AT&T which is the same network and there were no issues with hotspot. Also, of the three S7's on our plan I have not been able to get my hotspot to work or my brother's to work. My hotspot actually worked for a moment however when I tested it again the following day it no longer worked. I was able to connect my wife's S7 to the hotspot but haven't tried since so I am not sure if it is still working or not. I followed the tutorial for my phone as instructed by Cricket but it did not help. Please let me know what can be done to resolve this issue.Thank you
HiI am a very happy CricketWireless customer. I think the service, coverage, speed and price is great. However I am really missing to be able to use my phone outside of USA, Mexico and Canada. I am from Europe and go there at least once a year, and it is just frustrating to have to opt for some cash cards while travelling. As part of ATT, I cannot see why CricketWireless can add international roaming as an paid option. I would not mind adding it as an additional service for the month I am travelling. Please CricketWireless, can you step into the future world and offer something global.I am also surprised that Norway is not on the list of 35 countries I can call or text to. I tried another carrier in the US, and had to switch back to Cricket within 2 weeks. Please dont make me look for other carrier again.
I’ve been using the visual voicemail for quite some time. For some reason it has disappeared from my phone. I tried to reset my password. There is no reset password icon. The only button available is call voicemail. When I called voicemail, it says the voicemail box has not been set up. There is no way to click set up voicemail. I have an iPhone XVenture.
I’m on my second call/case with Cricket to get my disabled voicemail reactivated. Apparently Cricket disables voicemail for people who don’t use it or something?!? I feel I use mine frequently. Very frustrated to be dealing with an auto accident with the inability to trust my voicemail to pick up when needed. The first case was closed because they said I didn’t answer when they called, but I never received a call or had any missed calls.Questions:What are the criteria for having your voicemail deactivated?How long should I expect it to take to be reactivated?I’m extremely frustrated right now and looking into other carriers. Any suggestions?
So someone has stolen my brothers LG Fortune 2 and is still using the phone. The dude has been messaging people saved in the contacts pretending to be my brother. He's using the data, making calls and messaging numbers as I'm writing this. Is there anyway to locate the device remotely before blocklisting it? Not sure what all apps he's got on his phone or if any allow premission for location/GPS. And if theres no way to locate it, can I suspend and/or wipe the phone in the morning on the 17th (when customer support is available) and be able to use the upgrade to get a new phone that becomes available on the 18th?Or does suspending the line cause you to not be able to use the upgrade?
I have noticed that often times my data will become throttled so slowly to the point of becoming totally unusable (like I'm not even able to perform a speed test or do a google search). This occurs even tho I have the fastest unlimited plan available with cricket (8mbps) and occurs regardless to how far into my billing cycle or how much data has been used for the month. This can often be resolved by putting the phone in airplane mode to disconnect all data services and then switch it back. After airplane mode is turned back off and reconnects to the mobile data, the speed returns to normal. I'm not sure if anyone else has experienced this but figured I'd ask just in case. (However on occasion, I've had to do this multiple times within the same 10 min period bc the connection speed keeps dropping below 0.01mbps which can be frustrating). It is esp problematic if I am using my mobile hotspot or am logged into a secure site for something important like paying bills or purchasing something
