I deleted by mistake the number of the voicemailit is a 10-digit number which is saved in the Phone app's settingIn my device it is in the following path:Phone (app) > Settings > SIM 2 (I have dual SIM) > More > Voicemail > Voicemail numberThis is where the 10-digit number should appear in full, however, in my case it is just the digit 1, therefore, when I press on '1' in the dial pad to access the voicemail it dials just '1' which goes nowhere. Please help, even though it might be saved in a different location in your device it should still be the same number for all Cricket subscribers
LTE data is very slow for me recently. I don’t know what’s wrong. Most of time download is less than 1 Mbps. Before pandemic, I remember it usually was about 6 to 7 Mbps. I tested using another virtual carrier, which also use AT&T networks, with the same phone same location almost same time, it has more than 10 Mbps. Please help. Thanks.
I will be traveling overseas to London later this month and will have my Galaxy S8 with me. What, if anything, will still work while I am in the UK? Specifically, will I be able to make phone calls, send/receive text messages via roaming cell network? What about via wireless internet? Will I at least still be able to access the internet, or does my phone essentially become a brick outside the US, Canada, and Mexico?
I now have an unlocked Google pixel phone. On my previous phones calls to my Cricket number that were unanswered would go to the voicemail box of my Google Voice number, but now with this new phone I can't do the same call forwarding set up any more. I tried *74 followed by the google voice number but got "we couldn't connect that call"I tried *74 followed by the google voice number followed by #, and got "connection problem or invalid MMI code."How do I set up my Cricket number so that it does this call forwarding when the phone is not answered? Thank you.
Two phone calls and a visit to local Cricket office have failed to fix this issue which has surfaced in recent months after more than a year of satisfactory service.Sending via MMS is unreliable. Rarely sends on the first attempt. But apparently I can receive OK.Internet searches suggest the problem is DNS returning an MMS server IP address which is not reachable via WiFi and the public internet. Suggests an override setting for Android which is not possible on iOS. But that provides a hint which usually works: disable WiFi on my iPhone, reboot, and then it seems to reliably send MMS for a few days. But recently has starting having trouble sending SMS too. But no problem messaging to Apple users on iCloud.Would think an unreachable IP address would result in an instant failure, but the failure message takes minutes. Green bar appears across the top of screen, reaches about 95% then hangs for minutes until the error message. This seems to be more of a timeout at the server than unreacha
ANYONE HAVING INTERNET CONNECTION ISSUES, I BELIEVE I FOUND A FIX!Skip to TL;DR if you're just wanting the fix.If you're with Cricket, open letter for you at the bottom.Don't know if anyone else has had this issue, but the last few months I've been having some connection issues. Assumed it was because of my cheap J2 Pure that was the issue so I ignored it thinking nothing could be done until I could replace it. I upgraded to a 2020 5G Galaxy A51 with a new SIM ten days ago and this problem persisted.I could be streaming YouTube or Spotify in the background and at random times one or two apps just completely "lose connection" while the others continue working showing 4G/WiFi.Facebook, YouTube, Google Chrome, Firefox, messenger, one or two of them will just completely lose connection for five to ten minutes randomly while the others continue working and nothing I did would bring them back online. Not closing, not force closing, not rebooting.Started suspecting an issue with Cricket since
I'm disappointed that Cricket only allows a MAXIMUM of 10 people to send a group text to. I know other carriers are not limited like this. I have at times the need to send out a group text to 18 people. This 10 person limit is just an arbitrary limit set by Cricket. If other carriers aren't limited I'm sure technically Cricket could expand the number of recipients. This is just my feedback. I'm sure there are other people that would appreciate this 10 person cap being expanded.
AT&T owns cricket so why does cricket lag behind AT&T in service offerings. We've been asking for e-sim support for three plus years. I don’t understand why cricket is unable to add this feature so iWatch and Apple Dual Number (eSIM) are not offered. I could even understand if there was a $10 extra change to support but the technology is not difficult. It's amazon all the other prepaid providers (Sprint, T-Mobile, MetroPCS, Verizon and AT&T) offer the esim support. I get it takes time but it appears this is strategy to move customer to AT&T, but what it does is force customer to move to T-Mobile for esim technology. T-Mobile offers 4 lines for $100 with esim support. Cricket, please listen to your customers and solve this issue or we will be faced to move to a different provider.
If you look at 5g compatible phones, then follow after their branded phones under byop compatible devices on crickets website, it shows the Samsung note 20 ultra 5g, but even with a "4" notation. Follow this down and it specifically says 5g as a compatible feature for this phone. However my unlocked note20ultra 5g isn't working with 5g, while I KNOW we have 5g coverage here. Why is this advertised as working, specifically ok this phone when it's obviously not? Can we call cricket on this and "request" it be activated for our phone?
Can a Cricket Wireless representative please give me a logical, reasonable explanation for requiring a subpoena for something that other service providers provide for free? A subpoena for call records...really?You realize that this is something that I was easily able to access on both my phone and online account with my previous service provider, even if I happened to accidentally delete the number(s) listed on my device’s “call logs” section. If I had known six (6) months ago of all the problems that I’d incur after switching to Cricket Wireless, I would’ve just kept paying the extra $20.00 a month and kept my reliable service with a real service provider.Sometimes it’s well worth it to pay the extra money, especially for a service (cellular) in which we all rely on everyday not just for communication, but basically everything. I’ve learned my lesson in being cheap the hard way.BTW:I also thought I’d have better coverage with Cricket, given they use AT&T’s network and it’s reach in
I have a Motorola MotoE5 Cruise. When I go into phone settings/calls/additional settings the Caller ID option says 'Loading settings' and the Call Waiting option will not allow me to turn it on. Both options are greyed out on this screen. Eventually a popup appears that says 'Call settings error. Network or SIM card error (I assume this is it timing out while trying to load the Caller ID settings). People are telling me they are getting busy signal when I am on the phone and they try to call me and the only calls coming in that are ID'ed are from people I have in my contacts. How do I solve these two problems?
RCS messaging has become the default messaging platform for Android phones. Last month mine and my wife's phone (both Moto G7+) briefly had RCS messaging for two full days before it stopped working. At first trying to access this function via the settings gave me an error "your carrier does not currently support this function." The next day it worked again, then again stopped working. This time the https://100001.onl/ https://1921681254.mx/ https://happymod.site/ warning changed to "your device does not currently support this function." The second warning I know is untrue as it worked just fine the day before. The only answer has to be cricket is actively blocking this function. I don't know why. Maybe it's a stall until they find a way to monetize it or maybe they're doing it to force people to buy one of the few phones they allow it on. Doesn't matter to me, I just want it to work.Barring that, I want an explanation why cricket is blocking it.
Heads up, this is not a question. It's a complaint!I am sick of this dropped data mess!! I am going to switch to another company on my next paycheck. For TWO FULL WEEKS my data has been cutting on and off. And for a space of time it was completely off!! Can barely make calls, texts or use internet!! Sometimes not at all!! I had to borrow a hot spot from someone to operate my phone by Wi-Fi!I have Facebook messaged about this problem, left angry posts on their page, called about the problem, gone to Cricket store THREE times.....they reset the APN or they disconnect my phone from the tower (because Cricket CLAIMS it's a tower problem, if that's even true) and then reconnect it again, made a case for my problem and then last night claimed the problem was solved (and it seemed it was until the data dropped, AGAIN, for the millionth time and would only allow "Emergency Calls"). I even got a $10 credit because of this issue. Should've gotten more! The repetitiveness of this is angering me. I
WE ARE BEYOND FRUSTRATED!! Two weeks ago, our Wi-Fi calling just shut off. We had been with ATT for 24 years - always had Wi-Fi calling when it became available. We switched to Cricket. We had it for a few weeks and it just switched off. When we go to enable Wi-Fi calling, we receive an error. It say: “ACCESS DENIED - You don’t have permission to access http://www.cricketwireless.com/v1/wificalling/subtoken/ on the server. Reference# 18.4505e8ac.1613195266.29835f5”We have spoke to 4 reps on 611 over the issue. We went through the trouble shooting playbook every single time! Take out Sim Card, put sim card back in. Clear out Network settings. Restart Phone. Put phone in airplane mode - get data off of your Wi-Fi. Turn Wi-Fi off - get data of of phone. Update iPhone to 14.4 software, ect… TOTAL INSANITY to have to go through FOUR times. One rep gave us the customer service number to Apple. The tech said the key to our problem is in the error message - cricketwireless denied you access no
I purchased the $5 plan yesterday, arrived in country today, trying to call my hotel, I get a pop-up telling me that mobile network is not available. Connect to a wireless network to make a call. I have no bars. Do I need to turn on international roaming in settings? I tried that but got a warning that significant charges may be incurred so I turned it right back off. Please help! Thanks!
I recently switched to Cricket from Straight Talk because Cricket offered MUCH better coverage in my area than Straight Talk. I am very satisfied with the switch in that I can now browse the web on my phone without having to sit in my car in the driveway. However, I am having an issue with the hotspot. Despite Straight Talk's inferior coverage out here, I was still able to put my phone on to charge in my car and run my mobile hotspot to play online games. Now you would think that since Cricket has better coverage their hotspot would perform better, right? WRONG. My laptop will connect but it runs so slow that it is essentially useless. What gives, Cricket? Why is my connection so strong on my cell phone but your mobile hotspot is absolute garbage? And yes, I tried USB tethering and it was even slower. This is unacceptable. Straight Talk's hotspot is included in their $55 plan for free and works dramatically better than the one you guys charge $10/month for. Get it togeth
I’ve had cricket for over a month now. At first I wasn’t able to be on the internet without WiFi (so I could t use my data) even though I have unlimited data. That fixed itself but now I can’t receive pictures through text message. When someone sends me a picture it just says “no subject” any ideas to resolve this?
I have a Nokia C5 Endi and my hotspot will not work. I can connect my devices to it but there is no internet connection. I had a Nokia 3.1 Plus and it had the same issues that's why I bought the C5. I have chatted and called cricket but still have this issue. Does anyone know what to do? I'm so close to just saying bye to cricket and going back to pageplus. At least they work like they say they will. And yes I have done ALL troubleshooting from my end. Never had a problem with my hotspot until after I got a insurance replacement on my 3.1 about 3 months ago since then I haven't had hotspot that I'm paying for.
