I went thru the trouble of setting a PIN and was reassured by a supervisor that only my line will have capability of changing the PIN as she set the other lines to not have text PIN access. Then I set up a secret question, only to find that my PIN was changed. So I’m seeking to know if anyone is aware of what FCC rule they broke by failing to protect my privacy?
I have been a Cricket customer for a couple of years now and, for the most part, happy with the service. We have two phones, both the same Samsung model, and I had a hotspot on mine. We were in the store yesterday to purchase a phone and hotspot for my father-in-law and the girl behind the counter convinced my wife that we needed to switch to a new plan that would give both of us a hotspot for the same monthly payment. So she switched us. However it appears that the hotspot will not work with our phones. Strange because it's been working with mine for almost 2 years. No one bothered to check and see if our phones would work and they won't let me go back to my original plan. I'm thinking that I see a new provider in my future.
Won't send text messages, says Cricket here! we are sorry but your text message failed. Your destination not supported from your current location. I'm in Baja CA, Mexico and trying to text someone in the USA.However I CAN respond to text messages and they go through. I have the all everything unlimited plan. Any ideas or solutions would be apreciated... contacted Cricket wireless support and they couldn't figure out why... no help.
AT&T owns cricket so why does cricket lag behind AT&T in service offerings. We've been asking for e-sim support for three plus years. I don’t understand why cricket is unable to add this feature so iWatch and Apple Dual Number (eSIM) are not offered. I could even understand if there was a $10 extra change to support but the technology is not difficult. It's amazon all the other prepaid providers (Sprint, T-Mobile, MetroPCS, Verizon and AT&T) offer the esim support. I get it takes time but it appears this is strategy to move customer to AT&T, but what it does is force customer to move to T-Mobile for esim technology. T-Mobile offers 4 lines for $100 with esim support. Cricket, please listen to your customers and solve this issue or we will be faced to move to a different provider.
Hi, I got my new cricket wireless LG Stylo 3 two days ago and am getting used to it. I've never had an Android phone before. I have three problems going on right now:1. When I started my phone, I noticed that I had a TOOLS folder. Then this morning it disappeared. I can't find it anywhere.2. Being a Mac person, I went to create a new tool folder and then I noticed that I can't move my apps around at all. They are stuck in one place so I couldn't move anything and I was unable to create any folders. What to do? And why did the TOOLS folder disappear? They must be related.3. And lastly, I am unable to set up visual voicemail. It starts to and stops in the process. Any help is much appreciated. Thank you, Martha
I have been a loyal customer for 2 years and today my phone decided to start acting up. I went online and was shocked at how much it costs to "upgrade" your phone. I spoke with an agent in chat that informed me that I was getting a $40 discount as a loyal customer. So just for giggles I went on like I was a new customer and the same phone I looked at was the same price offered to me as a loyal customer. I might add to this that I have 4 lines through Cricket and have NEVER been late with a payment.I do not feel as if Cricket values my business. I like Cricket. I have never had an issue with coverage no matter where I am.I would hate to have to change all 4 lines to another company. I came to Cricket from MetroPCS because of the customer service and lack of appreciation.
I now have an unlocked Google pixel phone. On my previous phones calls to my Cricket number that were unanswered would go to the voicemail box of my Google Voice number, but now with this new phone I can't do the same call forwarding set up any more. I tried *74 followed by the google voice number but got "we couldn't connect that call"I tried *74 followed by the google voice number followed by #, and got "connection problem or invalid MMI code."How do I set up my Cricket number so that it does this call forwarding when the phone is not answered? I needed to add another phone to my line and the cricket agent told me I could save money by switching to an unlimited plan with 4 phones. I made it ABUNDANTLY clear that my phone has hotspot and that I needed it on my phone and not the other lines. He told me that ALL the lines would have hotspot after the change to the new plan. and my bill would only go up $5 after adding the new line, 2 days later I went to use my hotspot and it no longer worked, so I called cricket and they told me my phone was not compatible with hotspot, I proceeded to tell them that I was using hotspot for years on that same phone up until I was guaranteed that all my phones would have a hotspot. As they were pulling down my pants they told me there was no way to get my old plan back, and as they proceeded to fu<k me, they told me they COULD give me hotspot on my phone but all the phones would no longer have unlimited data and they would have to charge me $60/mo. on top of what i'm already paying.
Own a LG G^+ Unlocked on the Mobile Unlimited Family plan.My hotspot has been working fine until a month of so ago, Right now I can activate the hotspot and connect the other device and I always get the Message No Internet Connection or WIFI has no internet access. Have tried with several other devices already.Wondering what has changed since my Hotspot was working without issues. Thanks!
Hey Cricket Wireless, I asked this question to the phone support and chat support and no accurate answers.. They seem like they don't have a bit of knownledge about what i am asking about, My question is basically Will Cricket's signal difference between them and my current provider of verizon matter to much? Cricket gets like -117dBm all the down to -130dBm in my area. Verizon gets like -110dBm all the way down to -124dBm where i live.. Will the difference between the two carriers make a difference in calls dropping where i live? I really want to switch to Cricket but i need my phone.
I’m also a victim of this port out scam. My phone # was disconnected and ported out without my knowledge on September 13th. I have been calling Cricket everyday for over a month now and am getting nowhere. The customer service reps are rude and uncaring. I was without service for six days without knowing it and all they were willing to do is give me a new phone #, but I had to pay for a new SIM card and activation fees (I had to go to the Cricket store every day to call customer service until they gave me a temporary #). This is totally unacceptable. They don’t seem to be taking this situation seriously. It’s all about the money. I just want MY phone # back, the one that I’ve had for thirty years and brought with me when I signed up with Cricket. Fortunately the other #’s on my account weren’t affected which is good, but I’m the account holder and the one that pays the bill. Where’s the service that I’m paying for? Greetings.In this day-and-age of constant scam calls, does Cricket offer any way to block all calls except for those pre-authorized? Or is there an app that you recommend for doing this?I'm getting tired of blocking specific numbers just to have them call using a different number. If I could auth only certain numbers (say from my contact list) to come through that would be great. Thank you.
Is there a way to disable VoLTE/HD Calling on the Moto e5 cruise? I think it is my location, but calls on VoLTE sometimes echo in and out. It does the same on my S7, but I have the option to disable it and have no issues with calls at home now, but I can't disable it on the Moto e5 cruise. It's not a phone issue since the S7 would have similar issues. Basically, you can call, talk fine for a bit, and occasionally the person is unable to hear me for a bit. Doesn't happen every call, but turning off HD voice fixed that issue on the S7 and it should work on the e5 cruise too. Thanks.
I have owned a Samsung Galaxy Halo phone for several years and all that time I had WiFi Hot Spot access for which I paid an extra fee. Recently I changed to the "Unlimited & 15GB Mobile Hotspot" plan and suddenly lost WiFi Hot Spot access. I called the customer several times and asked why my WiFi Hot Spot was cut off. They told me that I lost access because I change plans and the Hot Spot would not work with the Galaxy Halo. I asked then to be switched me back to my old plan and they told me that could not be done. They proceded told me that my only recourse was to purchase a new phone. Told them that I paid a lot of money for my Galaxy Halo and expected it to provide WiFi hot spot access. I explained to them that it was ILLEGAL to charge me for WiFi Hot Spot access and not provide that service. Only after that remark did they offer to give me credit. CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP ME RESOLVE THIS ISSUE?CAN ANYONE TELL ME HOW TO ACCESS A PERSON AT CUSTOMER SERV
Recently I upgraded from the 50 dollar plan to the 60 dollar unlimited plan and it seems like my data speeds run so much slower. The internet doesn’t run very fast not only on one areal but everywhere i go. I spoke with a rep and he was trying to help when we got disconnected and now when I try to get an agent it’s saying support is now closed. Which is ridiculous since I was just speaking with someone. I also haven’t had lte data at all for the passed two days.
Hi, i have subscribed to the 2gb data plan on my mobile ( i phone 6) . However , the internet is very slow . It takes a very long time to load pictures, videos and to open a webpage ,although i am using LTE , which should load data faster. Can you please look into the matter?Thanks.
Hello I am trying to find out if any/all of the Xiaomi phones would work on crickets cellular network in my area ( Bozeman, Montana), Ideally I would like to see if LTE coverage would be supported!
