Features Request - Google Voice Style - Accept Calls Press 1.
Call Defense is not working that I can see. Appears to be active. However, I receive 2-4 spam calls per day + 1-2 SMS per month. This has increased by about 50% since joining Cricket and is unacceptable. I would like an optional feature added similar to Google Voice which requires caller to press 1 to get through. This would block 90% of the automated and good portion of the live spam calls. (like Google voice) Other MNO/MVNO’s are starting to add this. How tough can it be?
samsung note 20 ultra 5g not working for 5g?
If you look at 5g compatible phones, then follow after their branded phones under byop compatible devices on crickets website, it shows the Samsung note 20 ultra 5g, but even with a "4" notation. Follow this down and it specifically says 5g as a compatible feature for this phone. However my unlocked note20ultra 5g isn't working with 5g, while I KNOW we have 5g coverage here. Why is this advertised as working, specifically ok this phone when it's obviously not? Can we call cricket on this and "request" it be activated for our phone?
WHY is cricket service complete TRASH now and they WILL NOT fix it!?
I pay for phone service that USED to be stellar! It’s complete SHIT now! They refuse to help. They are installing 5G bullshit while slowly choking out 4G service all the while CONTINUOUSLY Selling 4G devices touting them as the best of the best! I’m fed the hell up with this! I used to have full bars and no complaints! Now I get 1 if I’m lucky and can’t even send a picture thru a damn text message! I LIVE IN THE SAME PLACE AND YOUR SERVICE HAS GOTTEN SO BAD THAT IM FIXING TO SAY SHOVE IT UP YOUR 5G TOWER THAT IS LITERALLY 5 MILES FROM MY FRONT DOOR! You crooks! Not everyone can afford to run out and buy new $600+ Phones! And what’s worse is y’all haven’t offered to assist customers with these new phones these stupid rich companies are going to require us to have! Get. It. Together.
Can’t order anything online, says credit card not processing
I’ve been a loyal customer of Cricket for 7 years now and every time I try and order a new phone from the website I always have trouble. When I ordered 3 phones in March the issue was that the address I was using and address of card don’t match up. I was talking thru chat and finally got it to work somehow. Most of the time I have to go to a store and buy it that way. So this time I’m trying to add my son to my plan and the same thing happened. I even tried my boyfriends card and it says that his card isn’t valid but yet he has used it ordering stuff online all the time. You guys really need to get this figured out cuz I’m sure your losing customers and I’m not going to keep dealing with this. At this point I might as well pay more for phones and service thru your competitors to have to deal with this hassle. I know I’m not the only one with this problem and I have contacted Cricket on Facebook but got blown off. Figure it out your I go elsewhere.
Looking for a feature to block all texts from email addresses and the web
After a lengthy support chat session, I wanted to post here for one last attempt, and leave it as feedback if I am forced to go to another service. I want to block all email-based text messages. Nobody contacts me that way that I know or care about. It is only a vulnerability waiting to be exploited. Verizon offers and advertises this feature. There are about a dozen posts for AT&T on what internal KB article helps a technician make the necessary gateway change. T-Mobile offers, according to their site, an ability to block emails sent to the <number>@provideremail. Hiya doesn’t block what I am requesting.Changing my number is an unacceptable option (for a fee even) because changing the number is more of a hassle than jumping providers. Does Cricket have control of their own infrastructure so that this can be done, like with their owner company and their competition?
Where is customer loyalty perk??
Cricket seems no longer able to satisfy existing customers with loyalty perks. I can easily switch to another carrier and save lots of money. I've been a customer for over 7 years and cricket has made no effort to keep me happy. I'm seeing a lot of the same from reading different posts. Very unfortunate considering the above and beyond service I've experienced in previous years.
PLEASE update your website on Eligible Phones for Mobile Hotspot
I recently upgraded my plan to the unlimited Ultimate + hotspot…. first checked the website to be sure that my moto g power was eligible for hotspot and it said it was. Now I find out that it in fact is not eligible via one of your online chat agents. My phone was purchased directly from Motorola, not a carrier specific phone. So please, make this more clear on your website. It was nice of your agent to remind me that I’m eligible for a device upgrade, but unfortunately, that doesn’t make up for the fact that the phone I have is relatively new and replacing it now would be a giant waste of my money.
Another customer wondering about RCS
RCS worked on Google Messages on my Cricket-branded Moto G7 for a few months, but when I uninstalled Google Messages and tried re-installing it, it hangs when verifying my number. Can someone from Cricket provide an answer on exactly what phones RCS is supported on and what the schedule to roll RCS out to all phones?

Why cant i get my s21+ unlocked phone that cost $1000 plus the other 3 i bought for my plan not send stupid videos to eachother cuz cricket or samsung wont give me an rcs option? Come on you guys i dont want to use google messenger anymore because it doesnt customize which is the number one reason i left apple.Its 2021 and i cant send a video from one device to another without it looking like super mario 1? This shouldnt even be a topic of discussion anymore since it has been since the s9. Get it together asap or your going to lose a family plan over here.
Yes I have a Question about my phone company I been with over 10years, the phone my son used for about 4 years , he upgraded to new phone so we all use the older phone when 1 of our phones break and have to be sent in , but today while using that same phone they shut my service off and said that the phone wasnt compatible with the service even those ive used it for a year and son has used it for 4 tears on there service . They telling me they can sell me a phone I told them i already bought a new phone through samsung ,that it wouldnt be here till the 29th of this month ,and that is why im using my sons back up phone that we always use . they tell me i cant use that phone anymore ,that i need to buy one of there , to me this is scamming people to purchase a phone that they dont need I already have a phone that works fine and i have a text and phone call come in to today and talked on it then they shut service off even tho im payed in full. thank you for you time Steve
Phone number unable to receive texts or calls
My phone can not receive texts or calls, for the third time in the past 2 months. The first time it happened I ordered a new phone directly from Cricket assuming it was a hardware issue as my previous phone was 4 years old, but the issue persisted to the new phone.I can send texts and make outgoing calls, but my phone number can not receive them. I can call or text my wife, who is also on cricket and sitting right next to me, and it goes through with no issue. When she calls or texts me back I receive nothing. A few hours later the text will come through.The last two times the customer support person "reset my network" to fix it, but it should not keep happening and I need this fixed permanently.Everything else works fine on my phone. Apps all work in real time, Facebook messenger and video chat all work fine, but anything running through my phone number is dead.
XR IOS 14.6 WIFI Calling Keeps getting deactivated
moved. the signal strength is poor in my new house tried to activate the wifi calling. error message. visited a store, the associate spent 1hr on phone with a tech. installed a brand new sim card got my 911 address updated and the wifi calling working. next day wifi calling error contact cricket if continues. call tech support. they tell me to call apple. plug in sim to a vision 2 phone get wifi working. return sim to XR still working. next am early message on phone your wifi calling 911 address has been updated. get home wifi calling won't work. call tech. back and forth eventually he decides Xr is not on the supported wifi calling list and the phone won't make wifi calls… how do i get the wifi calling activated and to stay activated on my account so i can get calls in my new home?
Hotspot add on
I use alot of hotspot so i can watch tv on my roku. would i b better off with the 10 GB plan and streaming option? rather than the cricket more plan that i currently have and adding upto $50 of add on hotspot a month? With my add ons I'm spending over $120 a month. No wifi available where I live.
