My phone software was recently updated on my s9 as it stated that advanced messaging was a new feature but when I tested it out it didn't work. Does it not apply to cricket or specific phones? For me so send videos I have to use WhatsApp if not the video is poor quality. And knowing that a message was sent or read or the person is doing is an awesome feature.
I purchased a SamsungA52 on 12/5/21. Received the phone on 12/8/21 and installed the sim on 12/18/21. I went thru the activation process and the phone would not connect to the network. After spending an hour on the phone w/Customer service I was told that the chip was expired and that I needed to purchase a new one. Naturally, I refused and asked that Cricket send me a viable sim card and was told that was not possible. I want to know why. I saw another post on this community where the customer had a similar issue w/a bad sim.and it said that Cricket would be sending a new card. I want the same service.
I use alot of hotspot so i can watch tv on my roku. would i b better off with the 10 GB plan and streaming option? rather than the cricket more plan that i currently have and adding upto $50 of add on hotspot a month? With my add ons I'm spending over $120 a month. No wifi available where I live.
I'm really disappointed in the Cricket Protect Plan. My husband and I both purchased LG Stylo 6 phones new at our local Cricket store last year. We added the insurance plan because at the time, it seemed like a good idea to protect our investment. My husband recently dropped his phone and the screen cracked. I thought we'd pay the $29 for cracked screen repair. Unfortunately, that was not the case. We apparently don't have any techs in our area, which is something that would be helpful to know upon signing up. The cost to replace the phone was going to be a $75 deductible plus tax. Currently, that is more expensive than buying a new phone of the same style at our local Cricket store! Not to mention, the hundreds of dollars we wasted on the protection plan on both phones over the last year. Save your money.
tried to set up hbo max on my new iphone 12 pro max. says can not verify subscriptionuninstalled app on iphone , reinstalled app still same issue. logged into my cricket with no issues.HBO MAX keeps saying can not verify subscriptionI have the unlimited cricket more phone plan.HELP
My signal keeps disappearing every few minutes and then coming back, disappearing and coming back, every 3-4 minutes for 2 days now I can hardly do anything with my phone. This is the 4th time in the past 2 months this has happened. All 4 times on a Sunday-Monday. What's going on with the towers in my area? Who knows. Every time I can call customer service I get someone in the Philippines who tells me there doesn't seem to be any problem in my area. They don't know anything. So now I'm done with Cricket and in 2 weeks I'm changing to a different company. I highly recommend anyone who has issues not to waste any more of their time and just ditch Cricket since they don't care about customers with issues anyway. You'll just go around in circles with nothing ever resolved.
I am led to believe the Cricket is crashing phones on their network purposely, To force customers to purchase new phones. I went to pay my bill, and the representative kept trying to ask me did I wish to purchase a new phone, when I clearly stated my purpose there was to ONLY pay my bill. Recently, my phone has been randomly crashing and having glitches for no apparent reason. I'm posting this for other users with this issue to take note and complain also.
I have been with Cricket since 2017 I am so glad I bought the protection plan I had to send my LG in so many times for glitches and malfunctioning the last time I had to send my phone in I was told it was the last time I could use the protection plan. I have had this phone for over a year I went to upgrade but could not afford the phone upgrade not the 25.00 free and any other hidden fee also buy a tempered glass screen protector and case. The phones I could afford were junk. I don't want an I phone or Samsung not an another LG. The Motarola I want 139.00 up grade price then the extra fees. When a new coustomers can get the phone for almost nothing I have 3 lines and pay over 100.00 a month. All this refer a friend stuff is not a good way of being told u could save 250 a year with refer a friend and automatic payments I do have automatic payments and people I know are happy with the servace they have. So Cricket you need to take care of your coustomers that have been with you for years
Every time I try to add the hotspot to my plan it gets to checkout and all my info is automatically put in because of auto pay then i hit checkout but then it says error enter amount but the box is grey and i cant edit the amount and every time i try this i refresh the page and then it says that i cant edit plans and services try again later ive been trying for weeks now i just want my mobile hotspot
I’ve been having this issue for awhile and I’ve tried customer service before, but no luck. It has now spanned multiple phones.(I have a BYOP sim) I don’t have access to services that used to work. If I try to turn on things like call waiting, or use call forwarding I get “Network or SIM card error”. The last time I tried to contact customer service, they said there was an issue with a prior call forwarding request pending and they would clear it and set the call forwarding for me. They did. It worked. Then I went to my settings to turn the forwarding off. It gave me the same error. The CS rep had to turn it back off. Call forwarding would be very useful to me for work and I can’t set it myself. The call waiting not working is also frustrating. Has anyone else had issues with this that they were able to resolve?
So I have a cricket account on which both me and my girlfriends phone is on the plan we use advanced messaging to text.So I noticed some strange things in her messages coming to me so I clicked on view details and it said reply to send her only and I click on that and it gave me a number of 62629.So when I tried to send a text message to that number it said I had to enter a valid 10-digit phone number.Also when I call her her calls are getting forwarded to her voicemail but it is a local 918 number where we live and I know that our voicemail numbers start with area code 317How can I find out who this other person is attached to this phone or is there another phone tied to her phone?
I am traveling overseas (Middle East). I have Cricket and I know that there is no international plan overhere. However, my phone is dying and I need to transfer to a new phone. However, in order to transfer Whatsapp and other apps, I need to access SMS to get the security code the apps send. How can I do that? Thank you
Cricket hotspot service is the worse I have used, I'm going back to a 3rd. party service and use my own AT&T hotspot.
It all started right off at the Cricket Store they don’t know their ass from a hole in the ground. First I made sure my AT&T hotspot would work with Cricket and put in the numbers and was told yes it will work. Then I went to chat gave them the numbers and was told yes you can use your AT&T hotspot. When I went to the store the girl who had just started and had been there 2 weeks started setting me up. She took the sim a made it the smallest it would go and then told me Sir our sim is to small for your hotspot you will have to buy 1 of our Moxee Hotspots to use a Cricket Sim. I told her you made it to little and she said you can only use the smallest sim with Cricket. That is dumb it does not matter what size the sim is they hold the same info. large, med, or small she made it to little for my hotspot. The manager who was sitting in the back room playing games on a Ipad when I ask her to get or talk to her, told her he will have to buy a cricket moxee hotspot if he wants our se
I'm getting about 12 to 14 Spam Risk calls a week and some that state their from telemarketers. I'm on the DNC list. The number of calls I get is overwhelming. What's Cricket doing about intercepting these illegal calls? I believe they have a responsibility. All I know is I've been putting up with this for months. File complaints with DNC registry. Anyone have an answer to what Crickets part and responsibility to us is?
I’ve been a loyal customer of Cricket for 7 years now and every time I try and order a new phone from the website I always have trouble. When I ordered 3 phones in March the issue was that the address I was using and address of card don’t match up. I was talking thru chat and finally got it to work somehow. Most of the time I have to go to a store and buy it that way. So this time I’m trying to add my son to my plan and the same thing happened. I even tried my boyfriends card and it says that his card isn’t valid but yet he has used it ordering stuff online all the time. You guys really need to get this figured out cuz I’m sure your losing customers and I’m not going to keep dealing with this. At this point I might as well pay more for phones and service thru your competitors to have to deal with this hassle. I know I’m not the only one with this problem and I have contacted Cricket on Facebook but got blown off. Figure it out your I go elsewhere.
How come a 15 plus years customer such as myself can't get a discounted price on an phone upgrade? A new customer can come in and get a free phone but a customer who is here to stay and has proven their loyalty has to pay a couple of hundreds of dollars for the same phone. What is wrong with this picture? There is definitely something wrong with this.
Can I ask, why is there no perks to being long-time customers. I have been a customer for over 5-years now. I have been with other companies who have offered great rewards for staying with a company for a certain amount of time. Cricket has ZERO incentives to remain a Cricket customer. If I was not on a joint plan with my Family, I would have left long ago. You get no discounts, no nothing for all the money I have dished out over the years to support your Company. I think it is a disgrace that people who have been customers for so long have to get the same sales and coupons as people off the street, and that people with other companies that want to swtich get treated like royalty while the existing long-term customers are forgotten. It is really sad. I cant even get my phone replaced because I'll have to pay full price for a new one. That makes no sense, that I, as a customer for over 5 years, can't even get a new phone without paying full price like everyone else.
