I was told I had 7 days to add insurance and said ok I will call. Well I call and they will not say I had to go in to store. I was never told this. It is 4:00 and the store closes at 5:00 ( I live an hr or more from store). When I told chat representative I didn't have time to go in he said they don't close for 3 or 4 more hrs. I said no it is Sunday. Had I known I had to go in I would have earlier this week as one of the person with a phone went out of town fri so I don't even have access to that phone. I was told I could over phone but no and now I have no protection so I will probably be going back to my old service when my month is up as this is no way to start off with being told the wrong info and not having any coverage.
I am a new customer and am ready to leave Cricket. No one speaks or understands English in customer service to a degree where they can assist me. So I am hoping someone here can. Cricket must block shortcut texts. I need to resolve this is there a way that I can do it myself since customer service is useless.
Neither me or my grandma are able to use wifi calling.We bought our phones from cricket very recently and gave been having this problem from the start. They are cricket phones, with cricket SIM cards, etc. Not once has WiFi calling worked. I have researched this and called support and no solution was found. I've tried everything I can. I've checked and our phones are on the supported devices list. Wifi isn't an issue. It works fine. Wifi calling and texting used to work fine when we used Verizon. We live somewhere without good cell service so my grandma can't use her phone to call anyone when she's home.
LTE data is very slow for me recently. I don’t know what’s wrong. Most of time download is less than 1 Mbps. Before pandemic, I remember it usually was about 6 to 7 Mbps. I tested using another virtual carrier, which also use AT&T networks, with the same phone same location almost same time, it has more than 10 Mbps. Please help. Thanks.
I have a Samsung Galaxy Halo and since the pandemic broke into our lives your company added 15GB data and mobile hotspot to our lines. Thank you! Today, 8/13/2020, the hotspot was turned off. I liked it so much I decided to upgrade my plan to Unlimited and More which includes 15 GB mobile hotspot. After upgrading I noticed the hotspot still doesn't work. It worked before?? Your list of hotspot eligible devices doesn't list my device. Guess I don't understand why it would work before but not now.
Neither phone seems to be transmitting a hotspot wifi signal. My test: 1.Turned on hotspot on 6s2. Made sure hotspot was off on 113. turned on wifi on 11 but 6s hotspot never listedDid the reverse with same disappointing result.Not listed on computer wifi either.Reset both phones and repeated. Same disappointing results. HELP!!!
My wifi calling is not turning on. I set the emergency address but it still won't turn on. It says address is verified and wifi calling will turn on in a few minutes but days later it still not working. It used to work until covid crap happened and couldn't pay bill. When I finally was able to turn it back on it wouldn't work after that.
The topics here are all about selling. Hey we don't have service since 1/8/20. On 1/9 I called and spoke with Ana since she acted like she had no clue about anything I asked for her supervisor. I spoke with Ingrid who told me that service would be fully restored on 1/9/20. Well, it has NOT been restored. This is a huge inconvenience as I don't have a phone while driving or when not with another company's Wi-Fi. Even from my home Wi-Fi or another company, the calls are either very bad or dropped unexpectedly. We MUST be fully reimbursed for this mess! If I wasn't so busy with so much I would take the time to find another phone company.. Cricket is very messed up.
On the cricket app, I received a message stating I passed my 22 gb for the month and could be slowed down when tower is congested. Does this mean we get 22 gigs priority data ? , Then get deprioratized ? I was under the impression that we were deprioratized from the start!
Recently went with cricket, the problem: every time i try to setup voicemail by holding down the one key, the recording tells me that my voice mailbox is not setup, goodbye and then hangs up. How in gods name am i suppose to set it up if it want give me the option after holding down the key.
Heads up, this is not a question. It's a complaint!I am sick of this dropped data mess!! I am going to switch to another company on my next paycheck.For TWO FULL WEEKS my data has been cutting on and off. And for a space of time it was completely off!! Can barely make calls, texts or use internet!! Sometimes not at all!! I had to borrow a hot spot from someone to operate my phone by Wi-Fi!I have Facebook messaged about this problem, left angry posts on their page, called about the problem, gone to Cricket store THREE times.....they reset the APN or they disconnect my phone from the tower (because Cricket CLAIMS it's a tower problem, if that's even true) and then reconnect it again, made a case for my problem and then last night claimed the problem was solved (and it seemed it was until the data dropped, AGAIN, for the millionth time and would only allow "Emergency Calls"). I have been using the same phone number with Cricket for years. I use two step authentication for Facebook. Unfortunately, because I clear out my browser history, cache and cookies upon exit, I have to enter a six digit code that is sent to my cell phone before Facebook will allow me to log in.As of the last four days, I stopped receiving the text messages to my cell phone. I have verified my identity by sending both a copy of my photo ID, and photo of me holding up a sign with a special number Facebook gives me to write on the sign showing it is me who holds the actual Facebook account. It has been four days. NOTHING.I am unable to get into my Facebook account. I found out there is other ways, such as Google Authenticator as an option, but at this point, if I cannot get into my account, I am unable to change the options. My BUSINESS number was ported our 10/25/19 to H2O wireless. Cricket has NOT been of any help! I’ve called countless amounts of times went they are telling me to be patient. How can I be patient when I am not making ANY MONEY????? I’ve talked to countless supervisors and CSR they are treating me like I’ve done this to my own account!!!! So cricket says wifi calling and volte not possible on byop Android but yet if i provision both on my cricket stylo 5 and sim swap both options work on any device I've tried currently a note 10 f model dual sim. My volte and wifi calling both work for about 6 hours until cricket reprovisions my account and messes everything up.
I am led to believe the Cricket is crashing phones on their network purposely, To force customers to purchase new phones. I went to pay my bill, and the representative kept trying to ask me did I wish to purchase a new phone, when I clearly stated my purpose there was to ONLY pay my bill. Recently, my phone has been randomly crashing and having glitches for no apparent reason. I'm posting this for other users with this issue to take note and complain also.
