I have 15 gb of hotspot on my plan…I use it with my laptop.. but I need to connect my printer also..Ive tried to figure out how to do this for longest time and very frustated .. I can not get home internet service where im at so I have to rely on my hotspot to use my laptop and i need my printer to be connected to the same network to utitlize the apps that i need to function with my printer… “Wifi-direct” doesnt allow me to use what i need on my laptop bc i dont have the internet connection..

I ran across this article here on Cricket website about mobile hotspot and tethering to be able to connect up to (6) devices at a time using this feature on my phone but there isnt any instructions explaining how to do this !!!

“you can use tethering to connect six (6) devices at the same time using Wi-Fi”

Anyone care to please tell me how to do this !??

@ReneeB71 Hi Renee. Mobile hotspot is a feature we offer at no cost on our unlimited plans. You can also add it to our other rate plans as an extra feature. If you have mobile hotspot on your plan and a compatible device all you need to do is turn on mobile hotspot in your device’s settings. You can check to see if your device is compatible here: https://www.cricketwireless.com/support/mobile-wifi/hotspot-eligible-phones.html

Hey @ReneeB71, once you toggle on your personal hotspot on your phone, you’ll have to find the wireless network in your printer’s internet settings. It will be labeled however you have it in your phone (ex. Renee’s Hotspot).
