I have a Cradlepoint cellular modem that I am interested in using on your system in the area of Rush, NY 14543.
I checked the IMEI and it says the device is compatible with your "Data Only" services and I am interested in the 20GB/$35 plan.
I have read your AUP "Prohibited Data Uses" and I want to see if my proposed use is acceptable. I understand the reason for the prohibition of continuous, full time or dedicated data connections if the application occupies significant bandwidth.
My application would involve an outbound continuous data stream of 24kbps to a specific server. Inbound data would be only connections initiated from the server (rarely done once established) to adjust or reset the device. This will be the only application I will run on this device.
The application does require use of TCP ports in the 7200-7300 range to communicate to/from the server. I need to be sure your network does not block these ports.
Given the fact that my bandwidth will never exceed 0.030Mbps, I believe it will not "excessively contribute to network congestion" that would be true for wider bandwidth applications such as webcams that are clearly prohibited for good reason.
If you determine my application is not permissible under the 20GB plan, do you offer any other plan that would permit this application to run on your network?
