I was told I had 7 days to add insurance and said ok I will call. Well I call and they will not say I had to go in to store. I was never told this. It is 4:00 and the store closes at 5:00 ( I live an hr or more from store). When I told chat representative I didn't have time to go in he said they don't close for 3 or 4 more hrs. I said no it is Sunday. Had I known I had to go in I would have earlier this week as one of the person with a phone went out of town fri so I don't even have access to that phone. I was told I could over phone but no and now I have no protection so I will probably be going back to my old service when my month is up as this is no way to start off with being told the wrong info and not having any coverage.

Hello @Ticenhower! Welcome to our Cricket Community Forum and thank you for your post. You are allowed 7 days to add Cricket Protect insurance plan to your device which includes the date of purchase. The device will need to be taken to a Cricket retail store so a store representative can physically view the device to ensure that no damage has occurred during the time of ownership.

Cricket  will give u the run around so u can't get there protection add to your phone so u will have to buy a new one
