This does not help individuals who do not do social media in any shape or form. There are many of us who refuse to participate on Twitter or Farcebook due to privacy issues and the company's practice of selling user data.
And yes, the network is unacceptably slow right now with many sites refusing to connect due to the connection being unbelievably slow.
