I'm getting about 12 to 14 Spam Risk calls a week and some that state their from telemarketers. I'm on the DNC list. The number of calls I get is overwhelming. What's Cricket doing about intercepting these illegal calls? I believe they have a responsibility. All I know is I've been putting up with this for months. File complaints with DNC registry. Anyone have an answer to what Crickets part and responsibility to us is?

I just today filed 14 Spam Risks and Telemarketers calls today to DNC registry. I've been emailing pages of spam risk calls but never get feedback. Even called the DA's office, they were no help. I guess I'll just keep reporting them, but someone, somewhere, somehow needs to step it up.

I am a cricket user now for 2 months. Before that I was with Verizon since 1998. I switched to cricket because it was cheaper since Verizon kept going up $5 every month. The only complaint I have with cricket is that since my service has been under them I have gotten so many spam and telemarketer calls and it really upsets me. I think that 14 calls a day is way overboard. Can something be done about this?

I agree with all of you that Cricket has a responsibility to try to block spam telemarketing calls. My friend on Cricket gets lots of them.
However I do not. I believe this is because he gives out his number to services/scammers/discount sites that offer deals. Those numbers sell his number to spammers or somehow they get his number.
I TRY TO NEVER SIGN UP FOR ANYTHING WITH MY PHONE NUMBER NOR GIVE OUT MY NUMBER TO ANY SERVICE EXCEPT DOCTORS ETC WHO REALLY NEED IT.
If you don’t give out your number you will receive far fewer spam calls.
Thats not true either because my husband doesnt use internet or give his number out to anybody he doesnt know and he gets spam calls at least 6-7 times every damn day. I was also getting them until I paid the $15-$20 to change my number I still get them just not half as many. Cricket should do something about it. We have 4 numbers on our account an we all get spam calls its ridiculous.
