I pay for phone service that USED to be stellar! It’s complete SHIT now! They refuse to help. They are installing 5G bullshit while slowly choking out 4G service all the while CONTINUOUSLY Selling 4G devices touting them as the best of the best! I’m fed the hell up with this! I used to have full bars and no complaints! Now I get 1 if I’m lucky and can’t even send a picture thru a damn text message! I LIVE IN THE SAME PLACE AND YOUR SERVICE HAS GOTTEN SO BAD THAT IM FIXING TO SAY SHOVE IT UP YOUR 5G TOWER THAT IS LITERALLY 5 MILES FROM MY FRONT DOOR! You crooks! Not everyone can afford to run out and buy new $600+ Phones! And what’s worse is y’all haven’t offered to assist customers with these new phones these stupid rich companies are going to require us to have! Get. It. Together.

My old 3g phone had way higher bandwidth speed than todays short range 5g. 5g is only good if you live in a city with a 5g tower nearby.
5G is nonsense. Doesn’t penetrate walls. You literally have to be standing near a transmitter in an open field to get those advertised speeds. There is some other reason they switched to 5G and it ain’t customer demand. 4GLTE was great and there was no problem with it. I suspect they just wanted to make people buy more phones or perhaps the surveillance state pushed for the change so they could more easily spy on us. One thing is for sure, they’ll never tell us the truth. There are other providers, shop around and get a better company and maybe a better price.
Your not alone. Same exact experience and feeling here. Used to be excellent. Now garbage. Same phone. Same location. Only service changed.
I switched to verizon believe it or not. They have these crazy incentives to sign up so basically my first year is free. I may switch out after a year because it’s crazy expensive otherwise. I can go with a second tier provider after that. No more cricket for me. Don’t like AT&T’s woke politics either. Cricket is basically AT&T
