Autopay failure

I have autopay set up on my phone with a valid credit card which is not out of date.  This morning I received a text stating that the autopayment could not process.  The My Cricket app stated that Autopay was on but also stated that there was a balance of 35 dollars remaining.  When I tried to make a one-time payment with this credit it said that the information was wrong and that I should correct it.  However, this has been the credit card that has paid for the last 3 months of cricket service.

Those three months ago this same problem occured and I was required to go to a Cricket store near me to fix it, which incurred an additional five dollar penalty to have the problem rectified.   I would rather not have to go through that nor pay the additional penalty for 1. Going to a store and 2. Having to restart autopay.
