Can I File A Complaint?

I hope my question is put in the right place, if not I truly am sorry but I don't know what to do. My husband and I got cell phones and cell service from cricket. A lady talked me out of getting the phone I want because I am moving to Moriss New York and I wouldn't be able to use it without wifi. So I asked her about my Moto G7 Supra. She told me that one would work in Moriss. Well I started to move into my home and it doesn't work, I have No cell reception and I am very upset. This phone and everything cost me 300 bucks and the lady lied to me.

I tried everything I could think of to make sure I wasn't wrong but I rebooted it and checked the data and everything and nothing. I don't know if I can file a complaint since we got the phones a bit over a month

Since you are outside of this return period, unfortunately, we wouldn't be able to accept the devices back on a return.
