Re: Can I hotspot BYOP Motorola g5 plus? BYOP Samsung S5?

Hello @mralansmith,

Thank you for your post! At this time Motorola and Samsung BYOD devices are not compatible with hotspot. You can keep up with our list of compatible phones here: https://www.cricketwireless.com/support/plans-and-features/mobile-hotspot/customer/hotspot-compatibl...

Thanks!

Re: Can I hotspot with Bring my own phone

I would think any phone that is hot spot capable should work.

Please explain ?   It must be on a list to be able to be used as a hotspot ???

Does that also include tethering... ?

I mean I do not want all my internet use to be only on a 5 or 6 inch screen.

Re: Can I hotspot with Bring my own phone

It must be on the list of compatible phones sold by Cricket if you want to use the hotspot legally. Tethering isn't allowed legally either.
