When you read the unlock code rules it states "The device you want to unlock has been active for at least six (6) months of paid service." Does that mean you need to be a Cricket paying customer for 6 months or you have to actually USE the phone for 6 months??? I HATE HATE HATE my phone. I have been a customer for 11 months now and keep switching back to my old unlocked phone because I hate this one so much. So I am not sure how much I have actually used it. I wanted to sell it to help pay for a new phone and I think it's worth more if it's unlocked! Thinking of cutting all ties with Cricket at this point as I am soooooo frustrated! Anyone know for sure how this rule works?

I have had paid service for 11 months. But I take the SIM card out of the Cricket phone and put it in an unlocked phone. So you really didn't answer my question. Does that mean I need to actively PAY for service for 6 months or I need to actively USE that awful phone for 6 months WITHOUT taking the SIM card out?
@BelloLA We apologize for any confusion. As we stated the Device must be active for 6 months, not the account. In other words the phone that you want unlocked must be used on our service for a full 6 months. It does not need to be consecutive months but it must be used for 6 whole months.
