Hi! I have a Galaxy S7 Edge phone that was running my mobile hotspot just fine this morning but now all of a sudden when I turn it on, it says I don't have it in my plan. I then proceeded to upgrade to the $60 plan and still get the same message when I try to turn on the hotspot. I am so confused right now
It sounds like your device may be a BYOD, which for mobile hospot android BYODs are not guaranteed to work. I seen on reddit that sometimes these devices will pick up hotspot, but it is not guaranteed to work. I believe you would need a Cricket branded android device, or an iPhone (BYOD or purchased at Cricket) Good luck!
