I tried to port out my number for the last 3 months before the renewal date, and I was unsuccessful. I submitted all the information necessary (account#, security pin# etc...) to the new provider I want to go to, (Red Pocket), and Cricket customer service just gives me all kinds of nonsense excuses why the number didn't port yet. I spend hours on the phone with Cricket Customer service and I wind up having to renew as I don't want to lose my service. Can anyone help me? I would really appreciate it as my number is being held captive by Cricket Wireless. Thank You.
