I have the unlimited plan do I need to change my plan to the unlimited with hotspot to get the 5G service

Thanks for posting. To get access to 5G, you would need the $60 unlimited plan which includes access to 5G, a 5G compatible device, and to be in a 5G coverage area. For more details you can check out the link provided:
