Last year, in August 2020, my phone number was ported from my phone and was used to gain access to our bank accounts, best buy , Credit card , Vision Insurance. Hacker opened new accounts in Homedepot , shopped online in Bestbuy. It was an absolute nightmare to get the new number, block the old one and regain control of my finances. Fast forward to yesterday afternoon, it happened again. This time my I realized what happened right away and called Cricket, but they were of NO HELP. They were asking for my PIN number but that got changed by the hacker yesterday . So ME the OWNER doesnt have access to MY Account . I went to the cricket store this morning got a new sim , reset my PIN and security question and my number back. When i question the agent at the store , he said that the number got ported yesterday at the Cricket store . ( Based on the vague information I got from him , the store is on Dixie hwy , Hollywood -florida)When i question the same to Cricket customer care over the cal
There is no option to change the phone number from my current account phone number to the new phone. Anyone have any ideas as to what is happening? I have never had this problem before. When I tried to all, they said they were open until 11 pm, but it was only 9:30 pm EST. Please help! I can’t use my phone and I need to get these activated. Thanks.
Ok so I switched to cricket and got IPhone Se for $50 for me and my daughter, plus a WiFi device. The dude charged me 3 activation fees at $25 each and then here’s the best part he charged me tax on the full price of both iPhones. So I payed tax on $900!! My total went up another $100 lol who’s ever heard of something like that
I ordered a phone upgrade on 08/14/2020, on 08/17/2020 it was delivered. I went online to activate it and was unable to, received a message to call support. I called in, they could not activate the phone & told me it'd be fixed within 24 hours. It is now 08/24/2020, almost a full week of no phone (8 pm tonight marks 1 full week). My line shows as suspended & when I call in to Customer Service the only response I receive is that it will be corrected within 24 hours.This is not helpful. I NEED a working phone. Please reinstate my line. I cannot count how many times I have called in, chatted in, always the same runaround, it'll be handled within 24 hours. IT'S BEEN A WEEK! I am missing important communication and if anything happens when I am without a phone I guarantee I am holding Cricket liable.This is ridiculous. Please help!
I'm trying to buy a new phone online using my debit card but all I keep getting back from you guys is credit card address is invalid what the hell does that mean you people obviously don't want any new customers because you treat people like s*** I've read the complaints on here and all of these are complaints I haven't heard one good thing yet about this place either you want my business or you don't if you don't then f*** off you're going to go under you going to go bankrupt and I pray to God that you do if you took money off my account without giving me the phone I will sue your f****** ass
Is there a way that you can email me the password and username reset link? I am trying to upgrade my phone due to my LG Stylo 2 not powering on anymore. The only option for resetting that information is to use a reset through a text message. I can’t access my phone to get the text message.
My son received a new phone for Christmas and saw that T-mobile and Cricket accepted his new phone for phone service, so he decided to use Cricket. We paid for his SIM card and monthly fee online and waited for the SIM card to be delivered via mail.On the day that it came, he followed all online directions and we discovered that Cricket wanted us to pay more money. Since we had just paid everything only two days ago we weren’t going to pay more. So we called the customer support center and waited. Unlike other companies that call you back if the are lengthy wait times, Cricket does not have this feature, so we had to stay on the phone for over 19 minutes until someone could take our call. This person was “Mark”, who was working from his home Country of India. Now I personally have nothing against this, except that I feel that something got lost in translation between Mark and myself, because he told us that out new phone was not compatible with Cricket. We switched over from Verizon to save some money. I’m a truck driver and coverage is important obviously. Overall it’s ok but there are two routes I drive that have NO COVERAGE.Evanston, WY ALL THE WAY TO Laramie, WY (I-70)AND Page, AZ ALL THE WAY TO FLAGSTAFF, AZ (Hwy 89)I had coverage along these routes with Verizon and Crickets coverage map shows these areas to be 90% covered. And it hasn’t gotten any better over the last 6 months. Using iPhone 7plus If you can’t fix this we’re switching back to Verizon Thank you.
Assaulted and Falsely Imprisoned then threatened and slandered about my clothing and mental disability for trying to refund my samsung within the 7 day grace period. That was after I specifically identified that FDN and call diverting were both pre installed and activated using his password. The Punjab or Fijian man in his 20s scamming out of Pittsburg California on Century Blvd drives a Porche truck and I ride the public bus and he started exactly with those two comparisons as he threatened to "beat the crap out of me" and then called 911 ON ME. Craziest thing is that he literally ran to block the door so I couldn't exit and did so forcefully and assaulted me on my pushing passed him to exit the store. I am certain this is a normal type of act he has done prior because now less than a month later the local police told me to not go there to use another cricket but crickets lil policy doesnt allow this. They kept asking him if he was sure that I (his wife) didn't port the number or maybe it was someone else he knew. What the heck is that supposed to solve? No one at Cricket seems to know or care how to protect our accounts! Now whoever took my husband's number is getting a "replacement" credit card of ours and a balance transfer of $8,000 on another card! We haven't even hit 24 hours yet of this mess. Cricket is the worst at protecting its customers and even more so at helping them! How is it that easy for a stranger to pull a scam and steal a phone number
My phone was reported lost or stolen. It must've been an error because I have the phone with me. I talked to an online rep twice yesterday and both times they sent me to my store where I bought the phone. I was told that they would have to reactivate the phone to take it off the lost/stolen list. Both times I went to my store they said it was fine and that since it was active now (the online rep said they could reactivate it, but it would turn off again shortly) they told me that the phone was fine and that they were a franchise store and that they didn't do that. I have been with Cricket for a few years, but over the last month it has been nothing but trouble with that store. When I went to get an upgrade, the employee told me that since its over 6 months, I should get a free or very reduced upgrade to the phone I picked. When we got to the counter he told me that he was "Incorrect" and that "I'm new so I forget these things", after which the other employee called him "boss" and told
I need three phones unlocked because I HAD to switch carriers because they would not fix the tower by my house it has been 4 and half MONTHS. Would never refund any money or credit the accounts which is two accounts. 800.00 dollars later I finally got fed up and switched now they won’t unlock 3 of the phones I paid full price for I need someone to call me back or something I stayed on hold for 1 hour tonight and nobody would pick up the phone and tried the chat feature 20 minutes before close and nobody would respond
How can I switch my whole account name and billing to someone else name and address I'm giving him a cricket wireless Android phone....how can we do the withswitch with out having to go into a cricket store or over the phone .....I gave my coworker a extra phone I have from cricket but we want to switch it online because we work in the desert on oil rigs and he needs a phone.... I took my Sim card out of my LG Xpression while it was turned on, then put it right back, and now i have an icon at top screen of sin card with lone drawn through. Like its not recognizing my sim for some reason. I turned phone off, took sim out, cleaned it, reinstalled. Powered phone back on and still did nothing. HELP PLEASE!?!?!?!
I have 2 lines on my account. I had 1 phone stolen. I reported it. They screwed it up so many times I kept having to call. In the end they reported my not stolen phone stolen. They actually never reported the stolen phone stolen until I called again and then they put both on stolen. I tried telling them that this one wasn't stolen, they told me to wait 2 weeks while they tried to get it off the stolen list. I did, and when I contacted them again they said it couldn't be removed, my phone is now junk and cannot be used on any carrier. I was told there was nothing they can do but I can upgrade and get a new device. Yeah, thanks.So cricket pretty much stole my phone.I got to say, I like Cricket a lot. I recommended them to a few people who now feel the same. But man, when you need customer service you're screwed. My daughter bought a phone based on a recommendation from the store. It doesn’t do what she expected. No problem 7 day return. Not really. She bought the phone at 1:53 on a Sunday and her grandfather passed away that day. She is a nurse and works 11 hours shifts and could get back to Cricket before she had to fly from FL to NH for the funeral. She flys back Saturday. Told her bring it with you we will return it in NH. Found out it has to be returned to the store you purchase it at. She gets home Saturday at 10pm. Called customer service and they said no exceptions if she can’t get there by close of business on Saturday they won’t accept it. Called the store they said they would but Cricket system won’t allow it. I should have until 1:53 on Sunday that would be 7 days. So is this false advertising especially considering the circumstances. I plan on filing a dispute and going to arbitration. Wondering if anybody has advise on doing this?
I’m wanting to order a phone from Cricket for someone on my plan as a Christmas gift. It would just be an upgrade for their line. My question is when you upgrade online will all phone numbers on the account receive a text about the upgrade? I want it to be a surprise and don’t want this person receiving a text that their line has been upgraded. Help please. Thanks!
I have been trying to Activate My Simply Data Account and link the number. The issue I have is that the temporary password is sent via text. Since the device I'm using is not a phone how would I go about completing activation? Yes, the device (Netgear 1120) was approved as compatible when I entered the imei #
What is going on? Cricket you have really dropped the bomb. I have been online for an hour and half waiting to chat with a sales expert to purchase new phone and port in number. I called and received a live person within 3 minutes but for some reason I can chat online and they can't help me with online purchase. I am fixing to find a new provider. #verydisappointedcustomer
