My account was shut off out of the blue. I had to get on a chat to find out. They've been telling me every day that they are looking into it and it will be 24-48 hours. Every single day. And then they said they would contact me. I said how. Not joking here.. they were going to call me. How f'ing stupid is their support.
How is it possible to not have phone verification of some type? Either a text verification with a PIN or a physical phone call to the phone in which the individual reveals personal info that is not visible or accessible to a would be hacker.
Would anyone be interested in a class action suit? I don't know about you, but its been a major inconvenience to me. I am having accounts compromised because of the verification codes that are being sent to the older number and so on... Cricket did not even express any concern until I filed a BBB complaint. And they only asked if i was interested in getting my old number back. Its been 10+ days and their support sucks.
