apn issues on ovation 2

Cannot receive or send text messages. Went thru steps to refresh apn...but when I had to click on the internet step I was not able to.

Hello! Thanks so much for answering me. So when I go in to APN settings there isn't an option of changing anything. And everything is grayed out. Looks like alot of info isn't there as well.

I can't receive or send text messages consistently. I restarted my device and I can send out one or two and then I get the app isn't responding. I have emptied I think it's called messages cache. I have force stopped messages as well. Thank so much for helping with this. Am trying not to have to factory reset if possible.
