Moto G7 Power

I have a Moto G7 Power. It was a Tmobile phone and is unlocked. It was a new phone in 6/2020. Less than a year old.

My question is, how long is this phone going to be compatible with the Cricket network?

Hi @ave13co

Thanks for posting. You can input your IMEI into the compatibility tool provided, and if it lets you know your device is compatible, then you are good to go! :)

You mis-understand. The phone is working on Cricket network now.

My question is, how long will it be compatible?

I heard Cricket was phasing out some phones and am asking about the Motorola Moto G7 Power.

Hi @ave13co if you pop the IMEI of your device in our IMEI Checker, it will let you know if it will be compatible. You should have also received a text message stating that your device will no longer be compatible after our 3G Network Sunset in Feb 2022, if in fact, your device will no longer be compatible. Feel free to contact our Support Team on Twitter @cricketsupport or on Facebook at m.me/cricketwireless if you need additional assistance. Since this is a 4G telephone since I have been told. I want to know considering that we are in the next generation of 5G. This phone has a pretty fast processor. Does it really make a difference if I get this phone that is now offered. Yet as I mentioned earlier it is a 4G phone. Will the phone be fast not using a 5G network but continuing with 4G. And also I'd like to say why would cricket offer an outdated phone so to speak. Such as the Moto g power. Instead of a 5G phone when I switch or update my service thank you
