Plans & Features
So, the cricket plan description says that phone plans have 5g included with the service but I've only ever had 4g, my phone is less than 2 years old and I have terrible service in the middle of town 1M of download and upload speed at best, why is that and why am I not getting 5g? I initially put this in conversation but it pinned me as more of a question/complaint.
I was told that coming from ATT that I would have the same service and same towers. Most of the time I would get 30-40 mbps download speeds through ATT and now that I am on Cricket they are much slower. I was lied to about service and that is how they got mine. I later Googled it and now know they cap it but the employees (several of them) lied to me.
I have the affordable connectivity program on my phone. I changed my phone plan and I ran out of data as soon as I added a gig which is 10.00 which I had a balance of 58.67 now after I put ten dollars on my account its showing a balance of 8.00 this is wrong. How can we get it fixed. Phone number 312-282-3790 cricket wireless account.
We are considering changing to the Cricket plan of 4 lines for $100/month. Three out of four of us have phones and numbers with Verizon, the other has no phone. If we get 4 new free phones from Cricket can the old number be transferred and how much would that cost? I also understand that not all 4 phones may not be free but require an additional cost of less than $20. Can you verify this? How much would the entire initial start-up be for including all of the above? Can this be done online and will the new phones be shipped to us or would we pick them up somewhere? Thanks
I needed to add another phone to my line and the cricket agent told me I could save money by switching to an unlimited plan with 4 phones. I made it ABUNDANTLY clear that my phone has hotspot and that I needed it on my phone and not the other lines. He told me that ALL the lines would have hotspot after the change to the new plan. and my bill would only go up $5 after adding the new line, 2 days later I went to use my hotspot and it no longer worked, so I called cricket and they told me my phone was not compatible with hotspot, I proceeded to tell them that I was using hotspot for years on that same phone up until I was guaranteed that all my phones would have a hotspot. As they were pulling down my pants they told me there was no way to get my old plan back, and as they proceeded to fu<k me, they told me they COULD give me hotspot on my phone but all the phones would no longer have unlimited data and they would have to charge me $60/mo. on top of what i'm already paying.
Call Defense is not working that I can see. Appears to be active. However, I receive 2-4 spam calls per day + 1-2 SMS per month. This has increased by about 50% since joining Cricket and is unacceptable. I would like an optional feature added similar to Google Voice which requires caller to press 1 to get through. This would block 90% of the automated and good portion of the live spam calls. (like Google voice) Other MNO/MVNO’s are starting to add this. How tough can it be?
I have 4 lines with cricket, 2 are actual cricket phones and neither of them are able to use wifi calling. Keep getting the oops error message after we enter the address. I've contacted support several times and they have been unable to resolve. I went to the store and got a new Sim card for on of them and that didn't work either. More than a little frustrated at this point. Not sure what the problem is, we've checked the IMEI number, checked the address. Any other ideas? Thanks
I have never experienced anything but poor customer service when dealing with Cricket. Tonight I have a different image of Cricket because of my interaction with Polly (through chat) She acknowledged my loyalty as a customer and fully understood what I was wanting to achieve. She thoroughly explained everything to me and was very personable as well as professional. Polly, if you read this, I want you to know how appreciative I am of your efforts tonight. After finding out my payment was magically going up $30, you at least softened the shock with Are a sweet person. To Cricket Management - you have ways to go before I can give you a thumbs up on great customer service, but having genuine associates such as Polly, is a great start on changing the negative perception. Please read the transcript, and just know that I have brought you much business over the years, and I need reasons to continue you talk up Cricket. Regards, Ed McCoy
I had a byod device and got a plan that included a Hotspot. I later found that my device wasn't compatible. So I checked on the ones that that were with the mycricket app. A Samsung galaxy A11. It happened to that I had one that even had a cricket sim card. I took it in to the store and they promptly told me it too wasn't compatible. I show them where it said it was on your app. They said the imei showed it wasn't. They didn't know why. I'd like a better answer.
I am using the standalone Cricket (Netgear) hotspot device and I keep getting SSL errors that keep some websites from loading at all and others only after repeated retries. I’ve tried it with different browsers and get the same problem. I also have problems loading some programs in streaming apps on my ROKU, getting some variation of the message that there was a problem and to try again later. It would not surprise me to learn that these were also SSL problems preventing a secure connection with the streaming service. I don’t have any of those problems using the same browsers and ROKU with my traditional ISP. Any suggestions?
Hello. Since Hbo changed their streaming service to just MAX, their new app is total crap, it’s insanely time consuming and difficult to browse for something to watch, consequently I never watch that channel anymore. It’s also impossible to contact them about it, they are not interested in user feedback. They have made their streaming app useless. I am requesting that you partner with someone else.Thanks.
So I took my two old friends into a store to change service from T-Mobile to Cricket. After a grueling 3 hours of trying to port over their phone numbers, I was told I would be contacted the following day regarding the referral credit. That call never came. I was told to send them my referral code via email, which I did, but their service was already activated by that time (we were literally still waiting at the store). She couldn’t figure out how to apply the credits after service had been activated and said she would chat with her manager and get back to me. The app only shows the progress as “referral codes sent” and won’t move to the “claimed” stage. This is frustrating because Cricket hyped up this referral process.
So 1. I have to watch a freaking video to even learn how to refer a friend? Why does your website not provide enough information on nearly every topic? Your video is slow. I can read words and learn quickly. Unless you make that difficult too. Have a video for those who want to watch it and WORDS for those who don’t. Even those who watch the video need the damn link. Just post the freaking link. Nice and big. Front and center.I have to download the app to refer a friend? That’s stupid and invasive. Do you know that some of us use computers? Yeah, we do. I have to email the link to myself to get it on my computer because of your choices. I don’t like a lot of apps on my phone, which is none of your business. I don’t like being forced into doing things I don’t want to do. I’m going to delete it again. Thank you for wasting my time. You build resentment in your customers with this kind of thing. Even in the app it’s unclear how to do it. Why do you make it so hard? Oh right, you don’t act
My husbands was waiting for his warranty phone as we waited for his shipment (memorial day weekend) he would put his sim card on my phone to use for that weekend, I was told hotspot would not work on stylo 3, but yet when my husband put his sim card on my stylo his hotspot worked perfectly with no issues, so I dont understand why I cant add hotspot what so ever, when will that feature be available for stylo 3? I live in a small town and internet providers are limited here, hotspot would be very convenient!
